Disposable, compostable and biodegradable bowls made from 100-percent bagasse, the sugarcane fiber that remains after extracting the juice from the sugarcane. Sugarcane isn’t just a readily renewable resource, but the sugarcane fiber will also be turned into products usually made from plastic and paper and prevents the pollution from the normal burning of sugarcane waste after juice extraction. Our biodegradable bowls are soak proof, have no plastic or wax lining, and Can be utilized for both cold and hot items. Please note, that though these compostable bowls are soak proof, hot items will cause the bowls to “perspire” and some condensation will form at the bottom of the bowls. A far superior alternative to Styrofoam & plastic (non-biodegradable, petroleum derived, pollutant) and in addition to paper bowls made from cutting down trees. We now offer “unbleached” bagasse bowls – in natural light brown color.
